1.It is to be clearly understood that Laptop/computer and liquid products do not go together as a slight mistake and liquid spilling on the laptop can cause permanent damage to your laptop/computer.

1.Do not over charge the battery.Give your charger and laptop rest by displugging both from main electric point.

2.Overcharging in Tropical environment with excessive temperature can cause instrument catching fire due to battery overheating.Though chances of this event are remote.

3.However Of late an incident occured in year 2005-2006 where SONY batteries caught fire during charging and as a result SONY had to recall all defective batteries.

4.However Laptop battery can be continously on charging during the period the laptop is functional as in that scenario power cuts itself from the battery and supplies power directly to laptop.

2.So when ever you travel make sure that the auto stored passwords are deleted.

3.Make sure that the laptop on opening asks for a password and it should be unique else a thief can find your passwords by exploring your emails.

4.The sensitive data should not be stored in laptop and preferably keep such info in desktop which is generally under lock and key.
